What We Charge For

At Ezra Healthcare Services, you won't be charged for everyday admin tasks like managing referrals or booking appointments. Quick emails and text messages are also free, so you can easily stay in touch with us. We believe in transparent pricing with no surprise fees.

What we do charge for is your clinician's dedicated time working on your care, as great therapy happens both in and out of sessions. Behind every appointment, your clinician invests time in preparation, research, coordinating with other professionals, and developing resources tailored specifically to your needs. In line with NDIS guidelines, we charge for this indirect support time based on actual hours worked, which may vary slightly between invoices. This ensures we can deliver the high-quality, personalised care your family deserves.

How Our Sessions Work

When you book a session with us, you're getting more than just the time we spend together! Every session includes preparation time beforehand (so we're ready to make the most of our time) and documentation time afterward (to track your progress and plan next steps).

Face-to-face time is always at least 45 minutes. You can choose:

  • 1-hour sessions: 60 minutes with you + prep and notes (1.25 to 1.5 hours total billed)

  • 45-minute sessions: 45 minutes with you + prep and notes (1 to 1.25 hours total billed)

Travel Time (where applicable)

To keep costs fair, we cluster appointments in the same area and share travel costs equitably among all participants seen per trip. Your travel charge will vary depending on the number of participants visited each trip.

Billable Indirect Services Include:

  • Session preparation — researching, developing resources, and planning your sessions

  • Clinical documentation — treatment notes written after each session (a legal requirement to track progress)

  • Professional consultations — we'll always notify you beforehand, and you may decline if you prefer

  • Reports and letters tailored to your needs

  • Custom resources created for use at home or school

Reports

Need a report (including NDIS progress reports)? We're happy to prepare one for you! Please provide at least one month's notice so we can dedicate the time needed to do it properly.

The time required varies depending on the complexity of your situation and the type of report requested. We'll discuss this with you upfront so you know what to expect.
